If your SaeoStep cord has snapped, first check the age of your eyelet hooks installed in your shoes. These hooks wear and tear over time.

Metal Eyelet Hooks: Can cause a burr and cause the cord to snap. (This version is no longer manufactured).

Plastic Eyelet Hooks: Over time can get a groove in it due to the repetition creating a sharp edge causing it to snap.
